"Stockholm" .. How difficult the mission of peace and war together?!!

Special, NewsYemen, Muhammad Abdo Al Shujae:

Last Thursday, Iran's terrorist arm demonstrated its military forces in the "Performance Square" in the city of Hodeidah on the western coast, in one of the violations that it defied the international community and the United Nations;  The main mediator in the peace process sponsored by the Swede (Hans Grundborg).

The irony is that the square itself was once under the control of the joint resistance forces, consisting of: the Giants, the Tuhami Resistance, and the Guards of the Republic, before the battle was stopped by an international decision.

This big show is completely contrary to all agreements and truces, from Stockholm until the last truce, and came in conjunction with a military escalation in the Taiz governorate, southwest of Yemen, aimed at cutting the only artery that connects the city to the rest of the legitimate areas in the south towards Aden, Lahj and the western coast.

The battle was stopped for special reasons known to legitimacy under the leadership of former President Abd Rabbuh Mansour Hadi, and from that day the Yemeni problem doubled and developed for the worse, as this stoppage paved the way for the militia to more flow of weapons across the Red Sea, the port of Hodeidah and the neighboring islands.  In addition to the recent influx of oil derivatives, which formed a huge tributary to support the war budget and corruption together at the expense of the citizen.

The Stockholm Agreement on December 13, 2018, or the armistice under the auspices of the United Nations between the two sides of the legitimacy and the Houthis in Sweden, was nothing but a big trap to contain the decisive battle, between the Yemenis and Iran’s arm, or a large part of the battle.

Britain played a prominent and ambiguous role in this matter when it seized the file by the neck, along with the Sultanate of Oman and Iran, and behind them were a lobby of personalities and organizations supporting the Houthis’ continued control of the north, and Qadar was circumvented;  Many Yemenis believed it was a quick option to stop the militia's incursion into one of the most strategic provinces.

Most importantly, the weak decision of legitimacy or the head of the regime, and its division due to corruption and ideological connections, and calculations that created a vacuum in the political decision, and the presence of fake statements in the military and security establishment, and the failure to fully respond to the demands of the Yemeni street for change.

Later, during four years, the coalition countries, including the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates, suffered from this agreement. Vital installations and prominent notables were attacked, which would not have taken place if the battle to liberate the city and the rest of the districts was completed.

The losses of the Yemenis have doubled, and they will also be in the future. Thousands of mines have been planted again in the areas from which they have withdrawn. Dozens of trenches have been dug and the city has been surrounded with explosives. The peace process, which took some of its rounds in the Red Sea on board one of the chartered ships, has been complicated. Muscat played  A role and still, contact areas.  All of them were detour operations, nothing more, as dozens of civilians fell, including soldiers working in the monitoring and inspection committees of the United Nations, the most prominent of whom was the soldier Muhammad al-Sulayhi, who died days later in intensive care.

On February 16, 2018, the British Martin Griffiths assumed his mission as the UN envoy to Yemen, succeeding the envoy, Ismail Ould Cheikh. It continued until the beginning of 2022, and Yemeni observers and activists considered him that he did not provide anything to the Yemeni issue except briefings issued by hypothetical or theoretical concerns, and the implications of which are a great deal of manipulation and lack of  Clarity of vision.  It was as if the man was carrying out a specific mission that completely changed the peace process.

Following the military parade in which the militia tried to gather as many people as possible, with columns of tankers and vehicles carrying mostly camouflaged missiles and some tanks, the Swedish Foreign Ministry got out of a little embarrassment and issued a statement of condemnation.

This is how mediators do every time with a group that raises death as an eternal slogan. Sweden, through its foreign minister (Anne Christine Linde), called on the Houthi group to respect the Hodeidah agreement;  This came in her tweet on Friday.  The agreement, which provides for the removal of all armed military manifestations in the city, and the obligation not to bring any military reinforcements to it by the two parties.

In the manner of (Martin Griffiths), she expressed her country's concern about the renewed military manifestations in the city, which violates the agreement signed between the two sides of the conflict in Yemen.  According to her.

In fact, from the first day of the agreement, the militia had replaced its militia's "tribal folk dress" with the navy's uniform and a mixture of multi-tasking security clothes, and no provisions were ever implemented.

Nobody perpetuates the process of fighting and forgetting the humanitarian process that reached its climax, and the collapse of the educational and political process, as Iran's arm does in Yemen.

The mediators, who are eyewitnesses at the same time, do not pay attention to this, even when they see the Houthis did not take the initiative to open a single outlet in the city of Taiz, and they are striving to close the only outlet, as evidenced by the recent attacks in which at least 20 of the resistance were killed or wounded.

In the Iranian way, the force was displayed during the past two days in the city of Hodeidah, and some believe that most of that force is fake and untrained, and that 70% of those who carried out the performances were gathered from the alleys and alleys of cities;  Just for the sake of filming a scene that at one point suggests to others, that this group has become a superpower like North Korea or Iran.

This does not mean denying the militia’s superiority in many aspects, including arming and political maneuvering, smuggling some of the active materials in the battles, such as communications and other materials, exploiting resources to finance their battles, and adopting a permanent attack on the sites of legitimacy and resistance.

After the Stockholm Agreement, specifically on December 30, 2020, the Houthis attacked Aden International Airport, a "civilian facility" in conjunction with the arrival of the government team, as the missiles fell meters from the plane.

The attack resulted in severe damage to the airport, and a number of civilians were killed. The “Al-Ma’asheq Palace” was also attacked, the President’s residence and the permanent residence of the government. The Mocha port was bombed after its operation, as well as the homes of citizens in the districts of Hodeidah were bombed and still are, neighborhoods of the city of Ma’rib were also bombed.  The bombing of a military parade in Al-Dhalea and some neighborhoods.

The scene of the war in Yemen 8 years ago summarizes the reality and ambitions of this group, and even if it is dealt with retroactively, the project it seeks to achieve;  His life is longer than we think, and his goal is greater than some might think, just because Iran is behind him.  There are things that require pity for the state of a country like Yemen!!
