Al-Bayda, NewsYemen, Special:

For more than a week, the village of "Khubzah" in Qaifat Radaa, Al-Bayda Governorate, in the center of the country, experienced a suffocating siege imposed by the terrorist Houthi militia, in conjunction with heavy and medium-weapon bombardment, which had previously been invaded and controlled.

This is the second time that the Houthis have besieged the village of Khabza after it was besieged in 2014, during their expansion in the Yemeni governorates after their coup against state institutions.

Local politicians and activists confirmed that the militias are waging a war of extermination against defenseless civilians in the village of Khabza in Qaifa, pointing to the death of a 13-year-old girl from her injury in the village of "Khazba" when a stone fell on her head several days ago, after the militias prevented an attempt to rescue her to a hospital in the city.  deterrent.

In this regard, human rights activists and media activists launched a hashtag #Khubzah_under_siege, in which they called on local and international human rights organizations to interact with the hashtag to lift the suffocating siege imposed by the Houthi group on the people of the village of Khubzah for more than a week.

The activist, Mujahid al-Salali, said that the village of Khubzah, which made the Houthis tormented in 2014, is besieged again a week ago, and the militias bombard it with their heavy weapons in an attempt to subdue it, while its men and women face matchless courage and steadfastness, as happened in 2014.

Al-Salali wondered: "Should we help them this time, or will we let them down and let them face with their light weapons until they run out of ammunition again, so that the militias will harass and displace them, blow up their homes and tamper with their money and property?"

Al-Salali denied the authenticity of the news that the Houthi militia stormed the village of Khuza, and said, "There is relative calm on both sides after the bombing stopped and anticipation for the efforts of tribal mediators that intervened to stop the Houthi attack on the village."

The Yemeni government, through the Ministry of Human Rights, contented itself with condemning the attack by the terrorist Houthi militia on the village of Khabzah in the Al-Qurayshiah District of Al-Bayda Governorate, and its attempt to storm it using various types of medium and heavy weapons, and imposed a stifling and humiliating siege on its people, preventing the entry of foodstuffs and first aiding the injured.

The ministry said that "in the event that the Houthi militia continues to invade the village, this will affect the continuation of the truce and undermine the efforts made by the Arab coalition led by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates, the international community and the UN and US envoys," calling for rapid regional and international action to pressure the Houthi militia, and to stop the blatant aggression, breaking the siege and abiding by the truce.

They warned of a humanitarian catastrophe and mass killing awaiting the people of Khuza, with the state of arrogance and the continuous aggression of the Houthis with the aim of the general liquidation of defenseless children, women and elderly, by storming the village.

They added, "The misleading justification information provided by the Houthi media regarding the attack of a Houthi resident on a Houthi military point is baseless, and it is a miserable attempt to use it as a pretext to storm the area and abuse its people, calling on all media outlets to investigate accuracy and objectivity during their coverage of what is happening,  And to benefit from the Houthis’ past and their misleading methods, which are being employed for the benefit of their military and authoritarian goals.”
