The UAE affirms its support for all efforts to reach a comprehensive political settlement in Yemen

Dr. Anwar Gargash, Diplomatic Adviser to the President of the UAE, affirmed, on Tuesday, his country's support for all efforts aimed at reaching a comprehensive political settlement that includes all Yemeni parties to ensure the establishment of stability and peace in a manner that is reflected in Yemen's prosperity and development.
This came during Gargash's meeting with David Gressly, the UN Resident and Humanitarian Coordinator in Yemen, and Tim Lenderking, the US Special Envoy for Yemen, in the presence of Reem bint Ibrahim Al Hashemi, Minister of State for International Cooperation in the UAE.
During the meeting, they reviewed the latest developments related to the efforts of the international community to find a political solution to the Yemeni crisis that would end the human suffering experienced by the Yemeni people.
Gargash welcomed the recent developments related to the formation of the Yemeni Presidential Leadership Council, hoping that the step would contribute to advancing peace efforts through a serious dialogue that discusses all issues related to the Yemeni issue.
