Political journalist Sayyaf Al-Gharbani considered that the development that was born in Riyadh, with the formation of a presidential council that includes many leaders after former President Abd Rabbo Mansour Hadi transferred all his powers to the council and the dismissal of his deputy, Mohsen Al-Ahmar, that it started from Shabwa governorate.
Al-Gharbani said in his post, that the battle of Baihan and Harib did not turn the tables only on the Houthis, but on the alliance of Hadi, Mohsen and the Brotherhood as well.
And he added, the 7 + 1 council now exists, as a result of the equation imposed by the giants.
It is worth noting that the forces of the Southern Giants, whose name is synonymous with the "Emirati-backed", ended their military operations called the Southern Cyclone with a crushing victory, which resulted in a heavy defeat and the expulsion of the terrorist Houthi militia from the three districts of Baihan in Shabwa governorate, which the Brotherhood handed over without a fight in the presence of the authority of the Mutah Muhammad Ben Adyo affiliated with the Brotherhood.
During this time, the giants managed to liberate the districts of Bayhan, Usaylan and Ain in Shabwa governorate and later secured them by liberating the Harib district, south of Ma'rib governorate, after they were able to enter the district center with the support of the fighters of the Coalition to Support Legitimacy in Yemen.
The "Hurricane of the South" reshuffled the group's cards and dashed its dream of controlling Marib, and inflicted heavy human losses on it, which the group's leader, Abdul-Malik al-Houthi acknowledged. Which made it difficult for the Houthi group to continue its battle towards Marib and needed to reinforce its militias with new crowds.
