Aden, NewsYemen, special:

Yemeni consultations are continuing in the Saudi capital, Riyadh, to reach solutions to reform the leadership of legitimacy, correct the course of the war, and manage the liberated areas, amid reports of progress in the consultations.

Media and academics talked about preparations for the formation of a presidential council to run the country in its current difficult situation.

The decision to appoint a presidential council may constitute a turning point in the Yemeni war, whose prolongation was caused by corruption, failure and betrayal of the presidency, with the agreement of all.

Southern journalist Adnan Al-Ajam, editor-in-chief of Al-Amana newspaper, revealed that there is a proposal to form a presidential council.

Al-Ajam said that the Houthi group insists on excluding the current president, Abd Rabbo Mansour Hadi, noting that this is not possible as long as the war has not officially ended.

Al-Ajam indicated that there is a proposal among the proposals to form a presidential council to manage the war against Iran's militias.

Political writer Huda Al-Attas confirmed that the coming hours may witness the announcement of a presidential council to run the stage.

Al-Attas said in a tweet that the coming hours of the Riyadh consultations may have resulted in the announcement of a presidential council to run the stage before the peace track.

Al-Attas added, speculation goes to the representation of the south with two seats from the Transitional Council and the most prominent candidate, Aidarous al-Zubaidi, and another from Hadramawt, as well as membership of the Islah Party, the Congress, and an independent figure.

Al-Attas explained that the problem of Yemen is political in essence, and its fault lies in the shape of the state, and changing the structure of the presidential authority by filling it with parties will not solve the matter, but rather will complicate it further.

In turn, academic Hussein Al-Diyani confirmed that there are preparations for the formation of a presidential council.

Al-Diyani wrote on Twitter, it seems that things are heading towards a Yemeni presidential council.

The idea of forming a presidential council appears strongly in light of the great failure of Hadi and Al-Ahmar and the Brotherhood system that has controlled the presidency for years.

The presidency failed to manage the file of war and the file of services in the liberated areas and shifted its tasks to private trade abroad and the purchase of real estate away from what is going on on the fronts and the needs of the people.
