Aden, NewsYemen:

Adviser to the interim president, Abd Rabbuh Mansour Hadi, and former foreign minister, Abdul-Malik Al-Mikhlafi, described the alleged Houthi truce as an attempt by the Houthis to "legitimize his crime", in reference to the coup and war.

Al-Mikhlafi said, in a tweet on Twitter: "After 7 years of war, Al-Houthi does not care about the consequences of the catastrophe he has caused to Yemen and Yemenis, and for this he does not think about peace that opens the door to ending the disaster and its effects, rebuilding Yemen and restoring the souls and lives of Yemenis, but rather thinks about how to legitimize  His crime, from here we can understand his so-called cease-fire initiative with Saudi Arabia.”

He added: "Al-Houthi does not see anything else in Yemen, and considers the Yemenis as mere followers who have no will or rights, so he does not see his war against them, and his understanding of peace is based on this disregard, believing that he can convince anyone that his war is only with Saudi Arabia, supporting legitimacy."  .

Al-Mikhlafi addressed the leader of the Houthi militia, saying: "Oh, Houthi, if you want peace, look for it first among the Yemenis, whom you turned against their state.”"
