Southerners and politicians had affirmed their complete rejection of any chaos in the capital, Aden, and the fabrication of events that would harm it and the southern cause.
Politician Ahmed Al-Saleh said that the country needs leaders of its great size who are aware of the challenges that surround the country, and they sanctify the blood that was shed and the sacrifices that were made, and leaders who appreciate the extent of people’s suffering and pain and do not take advantage of their positions that they stole in heedless of time, and the days proved that they do not deserve it and should not be silent them after today.
The head of the South24 Center, Iyad al-Shaabi, said whoever used his position and the state's weapon to settle his personal accounts must be held accountable relentlessly. Stakeholders should leave the box of favoritism and the politics of "mediations". The unfortunate events were repeated over and over again, but with them, the problems were removed every time and not dealt with completely.
Journalist Alaa Adel Hanash considered that insulting our southern armed forces and southern security services is unacceptable in any form, and under any excuse.
He added, "We acknowledge that there is a mistake that occurred, and this is present in any part of the world, and we know that it is required to correct it, and as soon as possible, and there are procedures to correct it."
The Southern Transitional Council had directed yesterday to refer the perpetrators of the Khor Maksar events, the day before yesterday, to the judiciary and to expel the security forces from Al-Omal Island.
