The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ahmed Awad bin Mubarak, accused the governor of Shabwa of inciting side battles, which kept the Yemenis away from the battle with Al-Houthi.
In an interview with the Qatari Al-Jazeera channel, Ibn Mubarak said that the UAE did not refuse to leave Balhaf, and the legitimate government did not talk to it about Balhaf, adding, "We, them and Saudi Arabia are in one battle against the Houthis."
He stressed that those "talking about Balhaf now want side battles that keep us away from the battle with the Houthis," referring to the Shabwa governor, the Brotherhood and the Brotherhood organization, which escalates its rhetoric against the coalition and mobilizes to target Balhaf.
Ibn Mubarak indicated that the government is authorized to talk about Balhaf and not others.
