A prisoner exchange deal between the Houthis and the Brotherhood in Marib

On Tuesday, government forces concluded a prisoner exchange deal with the Houthi militia, in Marib Governorate, northeastern Yemen.

The announcement of the deal by the Houthi militia came through the leader Abdul Qadir Al-Murtadha, who was appointed head of the so-called Prisoners Affairs Committee.

Al-Murtada said, on his Twitter account, that "14 prisoners" of his group were liberated on the Marib front.

The Houthi leader added, "The operation was carried out with local understandings."
