The mass movements of the people and tribes of Shabwa governorate shook the Islah party, the "arm of the Muslim Brotherhood in Yemen", and prompted them to intensify press statements in pro-Houthi media outlets to improve their image in front of local and foreign public opinion.

Yemeni media sources stated that General Ali Mohsen, the leader of the Muslim Brotherhood in Yemen, and the governor of Shabwa, Muhammad bin Adyio, have appeared in media statements during the past ten days extensively in official media under the control of the Brotherhood, such as Saba Agency and official television, or in foreign media wich is close to the Houthis, such as the Russian news agency Sputnik and the Lebanese newspaper Al-Akhbar, to talk about Yemeni issues and direct accusations to the Arab coalition countries, to improve the image of the organization, which felt the demise of its hegemony over the legitimacy that extended since President Abd Rabbo Mansour Hadi came to power.

Mohsen tried to court the United States by condemning, in a statement, the storming of the embassy in Sanaa by the Houthis, describing the event as barbaric, as well as his condemnation of the Houthi attacks on the kingdom, which is courtship with the Saudi leadership, and he also tried to attract international public opinion to him, by calling on the international community to deter the Houthi militia and Iran’s subversive legislator in the region, as he described it, forgetting that he is responsible for all the Houthi victories, as he was behind the handover of areas, sites and weapons, which Al-Islah elements practiced on the fronts surrounding the capital, Sana’a, whether in Al-Jawf, Al-Bayda, Marib and Shabwa.

The sources pointed out that Ali Mohsen appeared in press statements during the past ten days, nearly four times in statements and in a press interview, while Ben Adio appeared in statements with the Russian Sputnik, a Qatari newspaper and a Turkish-funded TV channel, including moves to improve the image of the organization’s leadership that was threatened by the national forces after exposing their corruption and betrayal on all fronts and liberated areas during the last period.

The movements of the media Brotherhood leadership also came, in conjunction with the holding of the meeting of the tribes and sons of Shabwa governorate rejecting the rule of the Brotherhood represented by Governor Bin Adyio, who handed over three directorates of “Usailan, Ain and Bayhan” to the Houthi militia, and coordinated with them to impose their control over Balhaf, Markah and other areas, including Ataq city.  Before the conspiracy was exposed by the people of the province, military and political leaders, social figures and officials in Shabwa, and thwarted.

Shabwa witnessed, last Tuesday, a comprehensive meeting that included representatives of all the tribes of the governorate, as well as social, political, economic and administrative leaders, representatives of civil society, parties, the Southern Transitional Council, cadres working in state facilities in Shabwa, and all components, which expressed their rejection of the Brotherhood’s rule.  And the legitimacy gave a week to appoint a governor of Shabwa from among the honorable people of the province.

The meeting also demanded the rapid opening of an investigation and accountability for the corrupt and theft, on all cases of corruption and looting, and assigning jobs to members of the organization, in addition to implementing fake projects and looting their financial allocations, under the direct supervision of Governor Bin Adyio, an employee of close Turkish authorities affiliated with the international organization of the Muslim Brotherhood, and charged with conducting coordination and joint cooperation with the Houthi militia, in coordination with the Iranian ambassador in Sanaa, Hassan Irloo.

Shabwa’s recent moves came in accordance with the moves of the leadership of the Arab coalition to support legitimacy in Yemen led by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, which is to rearrange the fighting fronts in all axes and assign tasks to national and trained military leaders under the supervision of the coalition, and to exclude previous leaders who worked to thwart the coalition’s military, political and economic tasks from the elements  Islah party dominating the joints of legitimacy.

The sources expected that the combat and front tasks would be assigned to a joint operations command headed by Lieutenant-General Saghir bin Aziz, who was met with him at the headquarters of the Arab Coalition in Riyadh recently, and who held military meetings with military attaches of the United States and the United Kingdom and the Egyptian military attache, in the Saudi capital, Riyadh, to coordinate positions to start a large-scale military operation against the Houthis, after their rejection of all peace efforts made by the United Nations and the international community.

The sources also expected that a number of fronts would be assigned to the joint forces stationed on the western coast of Yemen, after implementing the coalition’s directives to reposition and deploy in the areas specified in accordance with the Stockholm Agreement, and in line with the coalition’s military plans in Yemen, which is a clear indication that Yemen is witnessing a new phase of  Military, economic, and political operations are far from the Brotherhood’s domination of the public office and the military leadership, which were previously employed according to the plans and agenda of regional countries hostile to the Arab coalition, and who want to thwart its plans and efforts in Yemen.

The sources pointed out that the forces that arrived in Marib during the past few days constitute a real nucleus for leading the battles on the battle fronts after discovering fake statements that were provided by the Brotherhood’s elements and leadership to the coalition about the total strength of the fighters on the fronts, which were all fake, as the Nihm, Al-Jawf, Al-Bayda fronts and large parts of Marib fell into the hands of the Houthis, as a result of the emptiness of these fronts of fighters, despite the weapons that were handed over to them and which the militias have recently benefited from.
