Sana'a, NewsYemen:

Violent explosions shook at midnight on Wednesday / Thursday morning, November 11, 2021, throughout Sana'a, following air strikes by Arab coalition fighters on sites and armed gatherings of the Houthi militia - the Iranian arm in Yemen.

According to local residents, the coalition warplanes launched a series of raids on Houthi militia sites in the Al-Nahdin Mountains in the Al-Sabeen District, south of Sanaa, and the maintenance camp in the Al-Hasbah neighborhood, Al-Thawra District.

The coalition aircraft flew heavily over Sanaa.

Meanwhile, the spokesman for the Arab coalition said that the raids targeted military targets in Sana'a and Saada Governorate, northern Yemen.

Brigadier General Al-Maliki explained that "the coalition carried out precise air strikes against legitimate military targets in Sanaa and Saada," which included "sites of ballistic missiles, drones and weapons depots."  "The militia's cross-border attacks are absurd, and we are still exercising restraint," he said.

On Wednesday, the Arab coalition announced the implementation of 11 operations targeting the mechanisms and elements of the Houthi militia in "Serwah" and "Al-Jawf" within 24 hours. The coalition stated that the operations resulted in the killing of 60 terrorists and the destruction of 8 Houthi military vehicles.

In late October, the Joint Forces Command of the coalition announced the implementation of a military operation in Sanaa in response to the threat, neutralizing the threat of imminent attacks with ballistic missiles and booby-trapped drones on civilian facilities in the Kingdom, and deterring the targeting of civilians and civilian objects.

The spokesman for the coalition forces, Brigadier General Turki Al-Maliki, said that the coalition air forces carried out a military operation against legitimate military targets in Sana'a in response to the threat and neutralizing the threat of imminent attacks with ballistic missiles and booby-trapped drones on civilian facilities in the Kingdom.
