Media outlets loyal to the Brotherhood's Islah Party confirmed the arrival of military reinforcements to Qarn al-Klasi and Sheikh Salem, and eyewitnesses documented the crowds as they passed through the central districts of Abyan.
The Sept.net website reported that an official source at the Ministry of Defense denied sending any military reinforcements to Shuqrah and Sheikh Salem in Abyan governorate.
The source said that the army is committed to the directives of the political leadership since the Riyadh Agreement and its consequences through the joint committee.
On this, the southern lawyer, Yahya Ghaleb Al-Shuaibi, said that the Ministry of Defense denied sending any military forces, and in fact there are military forces that arrived in Shuqrah yesterday and in front of everyone's sight, and to whom are they affiliated ?
Al-Shuaibi added: As long as the Ministry of Defense denies that these forces that arrived in Shuqrah do not follow them and did not order them to move, they are indeed terrorist militias.
