Political activist Mahmoud al-Yafei confirmed that the uprising of the people of Shabwa against the local authority under the control of the Brotherhood prevented the handing over of the province to the Houthi militia, as happened in Bayhan.
And he said in a series of tweets on Twitter, that the uprising of the people of Shabwa prevented the Brotherhood series from handing over the Shabwa districts to the Houthi, stressing that the continuation of the uprising reinforces the hypothesis of the intervention of the southern forces to protect Shabwa, from the series of Houthi-Brotherhood rivalries.
He explained that the southern forces will not allow the implementation of the Brotherhood's scheme in Shabwa and hand it over to the Iranian project, so that its sons will become victims of the crimes of the Brotherhood and the Houthis.
Al-Yafei said that everyone lost confidence in the authority of the Brotherhood that presented itself as the protector of Shabwa, including the Arab coalition, which withdrew its forces from Ataq, for fear of Brotherhood betrayal.
For his part, the official in the Transitional Council, Salem Al-Marzaki, called on the people of Shabwa to rise up in the face of the Brotherhood’s authority of Ibn Adyo, to prevent the handover of the governorate to the Houthi militia.
And he said in a tweet to him on Twitter, that waiting and watching the farce between the Brotherhood and the Houthis is nothing but a waste of time, as it gives them the opportunity to arrange their papers and pounce on Aden and Mukalla.
The southern political activist, Ahmed Al-Rubaizi, confirmed that the Shabwa Brotherhood's authority seeks to ignite war in Shuqrah, in order to relieve popular and tribal pressures on it.
And he said in a tweet to him on Twitter, that Ibn Adyo supports by all means to transfer the battle to Abyan governorate, to relieve pressure on him in Shabwa, and on the other hand to create arguments not to confront the Houthi militia in occupied Bayhan.
