The Houthi militia seized a huge arsenal of weapons left by the Brotherhood’s forces in the Bayhan axis camps in Shabwa governorate, when they withdrew from the three districts without a fight.
An activist from the Marib governorate demanded the arrest of the military leaders in Shabwa, and an investigation with them about the fall of Bayhan and the handing over of weapons, stressing that "the stores of the military brigades there were full of weapons."
Youssef Ahmed Al-Aqili said, on his Facebook account, that the people of Bayhan were shocked by the size of the weapons that the Brotherhood forces had left, in their camps in the axis, to fall into the hands of the Houthis, and also into the hands of what he described as "beneficiaries."
He promised to document the testimonies of eyewitnesses, from the citizens of Bayhan, about the amount of weapons and ammunition that were looted, while the fighters on the nearby fronts lacked the minimum amount of ammunition.
Al-Aqili stressed that the support was generous from the Arab coalition, and that the problem was the corruption of the Brotherhood's leaders.
And he continued, "My son Dahan was among a group of no more than twenty fighters on the morning of the blessed Eid al-Adha, on the Fadha front in al-Bayda governorate, and they fought a heroic battle against the Houthi militia, and there were martyrs and wounded among them, while the Brotherhood's brigades in Shabwa handed over the districts of Bayhan in half an hour without a fight."
Al-Aqili added: “How many of these brigades fell as martyrs in Bayhan if they fought according to their claim?”
