Al-Taher pointed out that the statement carries messages to the Houthis, to energize additional morale, and to resolve the battle in Marib and bring it down.
After the statement was issued, the media official of the Nasserite Unionist Popular Organization Party, the Marib branch, announced that Hussam Buhaibah encouraged his resignation from the Nasserist Party.
Buhaibah said, in a Facebook post, that the Nasserite Party, the Marib branch, has become affiliated with the Brotherhood's Islah Party, and its decision is controlled by the President of Ma'rib Reform.

And he said in a second tweet, that the timing of the statement and accusing everyone of failure and betrayal indicates its danger, and the goal of its timing is to provide justifications for future steps that the parties will take by handing over Marib to the Houthis.
