Isolating Shabwa and handing it over to Iran... The Brotherhood's plan actually starts from Shaqra
English - Tuesday 02 November 2021 الساعة 02:19 pmThe Houthi Brotherhood service, which appeared to everyone recently, arrived from under the table in an area in Abyan Governorate.
Brotherhood forces present in Shaqra and Al-Arqoub began building barricades and making large earthen barriers from the coast to Jubbat Al-Tariya in a surprising move for all.
These Brotherhood steps came after the handover of areas in Shabwa governorate, which is under the control of the Brotherhood, as well as the arrival of the Houthi militias to Habl al-Halhel overlooking the city of Lawdar in Abyan governorate.
These steps also confirmed the unwillingness of the Brotherhood forces for reconciliation and rapprochement and the concerted efforts to confront the Houthi militias, which are now threatening the governorates of Abyan and Shabwa, which is an extension of their sabotage of rapprochement efforts by storming the Al-Alam camp in which the Elite Forces are present.
Vehicles were seen on the Sheikh Salem front making earthen barriers near the asphalt line and up to the coast.
A Salafist mediation committee had succeeded in rapprochement between the southern forces and the Brotherhood forces in shuqra to repel any attempts by the Houthi militia to advance towards Lawdar.
The Brotherhood forces agreed that the party would be united between the two parties to confront the Houthi attempts to enter Lawdar through the two obstacles of Al-Halhel and Thara, but the Brotherhood forces suddenly retreated recently and refused the entry of southern forces and stipulated that the southern forces provide them with weapons and ammunition only, which was rejected by the southern forces.
Sources in the southern forces said that they had arranged their forces and were ready for any Houthi movements towards Abyan in light of the recent developments in Shabwa governorate and the Houthis' increasing threats to storm its capital, Ataq.
The fall of Ataq represents a direct collapse of the Abyan fronts, which are the first supporter and financier for them, and all these forces are under the control of a Brotherhood leadership led by Ataq.
The southern forces fear a scenario similar to what happened in the districts of Baihan and the areas of Al-Somaa and Hazmieh, when the Houthi militia entered them on foot without battles, in light of the Brotherhood’s Houthi servers, which became clear to everyone recently.
Sources in the southern forces said that, in the past two days, forces from the Giants Brigades arrived in Zinjibar and Sheikh Salem in Abyan governorate, in preparation for any emergency following the Houthi threats and advances in Shabwa and Abyan.
However, observers believe that the recent movements of the Brotherhood forces, their construction of earthen barriers and their reinforcement towards Sheikh Salem, and their failure to send reinforcements to Lawdar and Shabwa, suggest that a scheme that they started implementing with the Houthi militias targets Shabwa more and the southern forces and giants do not want to intervene and save the governorate from the Houthi threat.
Brotherhood militias see in the southern forces and the giants brigades the first danger, and the Houthi militias are no longer their enemy. Rather, the harmony and service between the two groups has become apparent.
