Prime Minister Maeen Abdul Malik directed an urgent investigation into the circumstances of the terrorist bombing that took place in front of the main gate of Aden International Airport, and resulted in dozens of deaths and injuries, Saturday evening.
The Yemeni news agency "Saba" stated that Abdul Malik was briefed by the governor of Aden, head of the security committee, Ahmed Lamlas, about preliminary information about the terrorist bombing, its circumstances, and the resulting casualties, including children.
The Prime Minister also directed the Security Committee in Aden, to strengthen security vigilance; to miss the opportunity for everyone who targets the security and stability of the temporary capital, Aden, according to the same source.
He urged the competent authorities to provide the necessary care for the wounded who fell as a result of the explosion.
For its part, the Security Committee in Aden confirmed that it had taken the necessary measures and measures to investigate the circumstances of the incident that targeted Aden Airport.
The committee said that its units and specialized devices continue to track the elements involved and involved in this cowardly act.
It considered "the incident aims to undermine the state of security, stability and public tranquility in Aden by the forces of extremism and terrorism," without naming it.
The committee pledged to "make every effort to monitor and track the perpetrators, and refer them to the judiciary to receive deterrent punishment in the near future."

The security committee published pictures of the car bomb used in the accident, confirming that it was a Hilux and detonated near the first security checkpoint to enter Aden International Airport, which led to the burning and damage of a number of cars and homes of citizens in the residential neighborhood.
