Military official in the legitimacy: Marib will fall with treason like Nihm, Al-Jawf and Bayhan

The former director of the Moral Guidance Department, Major General Mohsen Khasrouf, admitted that all the advances made by the Houthi militia - the Iranian arm in Yemen - in Nihm, al-Jawf, Bayhan and others were the result of the betrayals of the leaders of the army under the control of the Brotherhood.

This came in a telephone interview to the Qatari-funded Bilqis Brotherhood channel, which broadcasts from Turkey.

When asked whether the legitimacy would allow Marib to fall, as it had allowed the fall of many provinces in the past, Khasrouf said: "Marib will fall through treachery from within, if the betrayal of Nihm, Al-Jawf and Bayhan occurs or is repeated. Everything is possible, but the consequences are dire."

He added: "Marib has an army, fighters, security men, tribesmen, and resistance. They can defend Marib to the last breath, unless there is treachery in which there are military, security and political leaders."

Major General Khasrouf continued, "If this betrayal does not happen, Marib will not fall, and if it does not happen, everything is possible."

The former director of the Moral Guidance Department indicated that the legitimate forces withdrew from Ras Al-Manara and Al-Qutb to Mas camp, a distance of more than 100 kilometers.
