Lawyer Ali Nasser al-Awlaki said that whoever handed over the districts of Bayhan in Shabwa to the Houthi militia, without a fight, will not defend Ataq, the capital of the governorate.

Al-Awlaki tweeted, on his Twitter account: "Whoever failed Bayhan will not defend Ataq. This is the truth that the brothers in the Arab coalition ignore, which is still betting on failed tools," as he put it.

He pointed out that a southern resistance will be formed to defend Shabwa, regardless of the authorities' rejection, and everyone will fight to liberate all areas of the province that have been handed over to Iran's militias.

Al-Awlaki stressed that Shabwa will be liberated only by its honorable and loyal sons, who are the owners of the land, and they have the right to defend it.

He said that saving Shabwa from the Houthi threat begins with activating the southern resistance in the governorate, pointing out that the Brotherhood's army is content with protecting oil wells only and refuses to confront the Houthis.

While journalist Ali Al-Sulaimani warned of the possibility of Shabwa falling into the hands of the Houthi militia, indicating that this means the expansion of Iran's influence and its threat to the Gulf.
