Shabwa, NewsYemen:

A member of the House of Representatives and advisor to the President of the Republic, Sheikh Awad Al-Wazir, called for an investigation committee from the coalition and the government to uncover the reasons for the fall of three districts in Shabwa governorate to the Houthis without a fight.

The minister sent an urgent message to the media, denouncing the actions of the Shabwa authority about what happened today in a quorum and the attack on the peaceful sit-in set up by the people of the district, to demand the provision of services.

The minister said that what happened in Nissab is not the last, and the Shabwa authority has previously carried out such actions that divide the ranks among the people of the province, adding that they are narrow tribal regional behavior.

The minister added, “We are not against any party, whether reformist, transitional, conference or socialist. We are against people who take advantage of the state’s authority in the province to liberate corruption and suspicious characteristics.”

The Minister appealed to President Hadi and the government to activate the Monitoring and Accountability Authority and the anti-corruption committees, deposit Shabwa's resources to the Central Bank, and stop the mess.

And he demanded an investigation into the fictitious projects, as well as a committee of the president, parliament, the government and the coalition to investigate the fall of three districts in Shabwa governorate within a few hours without firing any shot except from some tribes, and where did an entire axis consisting of six brigades go and not fire a single shot?!
