Increasing manifestations of Iranian guardianship over Sanaa

Day after day, the manifestations of Iranian guardianship over the Houthi militia in Sana'a are increasing, and they are moving out of closed-room discussions into open space, without much consideration of the simplest virtual diplomatic customs and traditions.
In an interview with Tasnim International Agency on Tuesday, October 12, the Assistant for Operations Affairs in the Iranian Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, Brigadier Abbas Neil Foroshan, sees the Houthi militia in Sana'a as one of his tools to defend his country's security and to resist their "enemies in neighboring countries and the region."
The Iranian military official believes that what he describes as the (Yemeni resistance) has sufficiently developed militarily, in an explicit reference to the Iranian armaments, training and rehabilitation of the Houthi militia. Therefore, Brigadier General Foroshan expects that "the Saudis have no choice but to negotiate to end the Yemeni war, and the wisest path is to reach a peaceful agreement."
Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian also believes that Saudi Arabia should proceed with the political solution project, revealing the start of "new talks with Saudi Arabia" on Yemen, believing that these talks are "on a good track."
In an interview with CNBC on Monday, October 11, the Iranian official reiterated his country's presentation of what he describes as a "political solution project", claiming that his country "always believes that the solution to the Yemen issue lies in the political path." He said: "The Islamic Republic of Iran announced from the beginning that the path to a military solution towards Yemen is rejected."
In a related context, Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Saeed Khatib said, in a press conference last Monday, that his country's negotiations on Yemen have reached a more serious stage, and he said: "We are in contact with the Saudi side on an ongoing basis, and the negotiations have reached a more serious stage." Khatibzadeh: "We discussed with Saudi Arabia a number of joint and regional files, including the Yemeni issue."
