Eyewitnesses told NewsYemen that columns of military vehicles and crews, accompanied by heavily armed soldiers, passed through the Qattan city, Hadramout governorate, in the east of the country, early Sunday morning.

According to witnesses who attached photos to NewsYemen, among the Yemeni soldiers are Sudanese soldiers heading to the west of the Qattan District, with a huge military force seen for the first time in the governorate.

The citizens expected that these forces would reach the camp of the Al-Abr and Al-Khasha district on the international road to the governorates of Ma'rib and Shabwa, while NewsYemen's military sources did not confirm the news, and justified this by strengthening the main camps in the cities.

In addition, an official government source in the Al-Abar Directorate indicated that military forces were arriving, successively, from the Al-Wadea border crossing with Saudi Arabia and Hadhramaut governorate towards the governorates of Marib and Shabwa through the Al-Abr junction two days ago, pointing out that among the forces were armored vehicles anti-ambush and mines, and military teams in new forms.

He confirmed that some soldiers and heavy military vehicles settled in the camp of the 23rd Infantry Brigade in the Al-Abar Directorate, located 100 kilometers from the Al-Wadi'a port, inside which is the advanced command center of the Ministry of Defense and the Presidency of the General Staff, in addition to trucks loaded with cement blocks and logistical and military equipment, some of which contain tracked vehicles and armored vehicles.

This comes within the framework of the military reinforcements of Hadhramaut Governorate to confront the Houthi advance on the valley and desert districts by the forces of the First Military Region and its brigades deployed throughout the districts and to strengthen the lines of contact with the neighboring governorates.

Earlier, military and security sources had talked about strengthening army and security points on the main and international lines in Hadramout Valley districts with soldiers and vehicles, and providing them with medium and heavy weapons.
