Aden, NewsYemen:

Brigadier-General, Tariq Muhammad Abdullah Saleh, leader of the National Resistance, head of the Political Bureau, said that forcing the Houthi militia to respect the people and their rights is a "Yemeni mission", stressing "the unity of the various Yemeni parties" to achieve this.

Brigadier-General Tariq Saleh added, in an interview with the Saudi newspaper, "Okadh", published in its issue today (Thursday): "We do not demand the international community to compel Al-Houthi, because forcing Al-Houthi is a Yemeni task, and the various Yemeni parties must unite to force him to respect the people and their rights."

He added, "All we want from the international community is to implement Security Council resolutions, the most important of which is the decision to prevent the export of arms to the Houthi movement.

The Houthi decision is in Tehran and not in the hands of this group, because it is just an advanced battalion of the Revolutionary Guards and the Quds Force."

He pointed out that "the international community can pressure by supporting the legitimate struggle of Yemenis against this group, which destroyed a sovereign state and plunged an entire people into the furnace of a great holocaust."

He stressed that "as long as the Houthi militia does not want peace and does not have a peace decision in the first place, the international community becomes interested in supporting the Yemeni battle and supporting the Arab coalition, which assumed the responsibility of confronting this group in defense of Yemen's security and the interests and security of the region and the world in general."

He continued: "Al-Houthi did not abide by the Stockholm Agreement, nor did he abide by any covenant or agreement with any local, regional or international party, and the international community is aware of this and talks about it, and at the time of actions it is controlled by factors that have nothing to do with the interest of the Yemeni people, the blood of Yemenis, nor their rights.  "

Tariq Saleh called for "unification of efforts and close ranks," considering that "the militia benefits from the fragmentation of the battle and the dispersal of fronts and efforts."

He stated that "the desire is there for everyone to unite efforts, but some stumble with their irrational and unrealistic fears and obsessions, and some are prevented by corruption and the reality of corruption within the battle, which benefits from it in one way or another."

The commander of the Republican Guard Brigades expressed "the readiness to support all fronts, without exception, to confront Al-Houthi," stressing "the ability to do so."

He stressed that "the army, thanks to the great heroic performance of the tribesmen of Ma'rib and with the support of air support for the coalition forces, is able to protect Marib and even restore its previous advances."

He said, "The fighters on the ground on all fronts are heroes, brave and believe in their cause, but the military administration on some fronts is dysfunctional and must be addressed, and this includes administrative and economic performance and even the media discourse. There are major shortcomings that do not match the sacrifices made by the fighters on the fronts or the circumstances that the people deserve it and legitimacy must achieve it.”

While the leader of the National Resistance pointed out that the Arab coalition, led by Saudi Arabia, provided great capabilities to support the battle for legitimacy, the Yemeni people and their fronts.  He said, "The support is appreciated by all Yemenis, and only a denier can deny it."

Regarding the Riyadh Agreement signed between the government and the Southern Transitional Council on November 5, 2019, the head of the Political Bureau of the National Resistance described the agreement as a "national political achievement", stressing that "there is still an opportunity for this agreement to achieve a positive breakthrough in reforming the performance of legitimacy and unifying ranks against the Houthis."

He added: "Although we are not represented in this agreement, what matters to us is that the political parties leave the government to implement it, because the differences that occur are a free service to the Houthis and delay the battle of victory, and good faith must be presented and work honestly away from conspiracy and fabrication of pretexts."

Brigadier-General Tariq Saleh explained that the government is made up of political parties, including the transitional, so the government is no longer a party and the transitional party is a party, but a government that represents all parties representing legitimacy, and the differences between the political parties, and the government is the victim of their differences, and the liberated areas and Yemen all pay the price for this.

When asked about his lack of involvement in the Yemeni legitimate government staff, Brigadier General Tariq Saleh said: "These headlines are one of the mistakes that confuse the Yemeni people as well as the international situation.

The land is like a margin that does not belong to legitimacy, and it is the same entrance through which the corrupt parties or those with an agenda question the position of the Arab coalition and its goals regarding the holy war it is waging in support of Yemen in the face of Iran and its armed arm, as these parties present the alliance and legitimacy as if they are sometimes opposites.
