Al-Bayda.. Tribes repel an armed Houthi campaign and kill 9
English - Monday 04 October 2021 الساعة 04:46 pmLocal sources in Al-Bayda Governorate revealed that 9 Houthi militants were killed, on Sunday, while tribal gunmen repelled a military campaign launched by Iran's arm to storm citizens' homes in one of the village of the districts of Al-Sawadiya District.
The sources indicated that elements of the Houthi militia bombed the house of citizen Nasser Al-Salahi Al-Sawadi in the village of Dammaj in the Al-Haratik area, in preparation for storming it using heavy weapons, seriously injuring Al-Salahi's wife.
It said that Al-Salahi, along with a number of people from the region, launched a surprise attack on the Houthi groups, as a result of which 9 members were killed, others were injured and one of the crews was damaged, while Al-Salahi was seriously injured.
The sources indicated that the Houthi militia kidnapped the relatives of Al-Salahi's wife, who rescued her, put them in prison, sent reinforcements to its forces, and besieged the area, while the situation remained tense until midnight.
