Marib, NewsYemen, Private:

A field military source told NewsYemen that the government forces have regained control of the "Umm Reesh" camp, in the Juba district, Marib Governorate, east of Yemen.

The source stated that the forces of the 143rd Brigade, led by Brigadier General Diab Al-Qibli, launched a counter-attack with the participation of tribal fighters, during which they were able to defeat the Houthi militia from the camp.

The government forces fought a fierce battle, during which dozens of both sides were killed, while they seized 8 Houthi military vehicles and captured about 20 of them.

While a violent attack by tribal fighters managed to defeat the Houthi militia from the "Al-Khasha'a" camp in the same district, after it had seized it earlier on Wednesday.

A source told NewsYemen that tribal fighters carried out a violent attack to retake the Al-Khasha'a camp, between the districts of Juba and Harib, south of Marib, after it fell into the hands of the Houthis.

The Houthi militia retreated, under the pressure of the attack, to the strategic Mala’a mountain range overlooking the camp and the asphalt line linking the governorates of Sanaa, Dhamar, Al Bayda and Marib, while still imposing fiery control over it.

Simultaneously, the Arab coalition fighters launched a series of air raids targeting Houthi sites, vehicles and reinforcements in various areas of the districts of Al-Abdiya, Harib and Al-Juba, south of Marib.

Meanwhile, the Houthi militia imposed a stifling siege on the Abdiya district from three directions, and prevented food supplies from reaching the population, putting the lives of 5,000 families at great risk.
