The Houthis drive 640 children to death in 6 months

 Mayon Organization for Human Rights and Development confirmed, in a report entitled (Children..No guns), the killing and wounding of more than 4,000 children recruited into the Houthi militia during the first half of this year.

It explained that 640 Yemeni children were killed during the period (January-June 2021), who were recruited by the Houthi militia, noting that the ages of the victims ranged between (13-17 years).

According to the organization, more than half of these children killed belong to the governorates of Sana'a, Dhamar and Hajjah, as their number reached (333) children out of a total of 15 governorates covered by the monitoring operations.

It noted that the monitored numbers are from the Houthi militia media only;  Unlike the dead children, whose names have not been announced.

The human rights organization estimated the number of wounded children recruited by the Houthi militia (3,400), according to information obtained by the organization from hospitals in the capital’s secretariat and the governorates under the militia, and the so-called institution for the care of the wounded.
