Marib, NewsYemen:

The Houthi militia continues its violations against civilians in Rahba district, southwest of Marib Governorate.

Dozens of families were forcibly displaced from an area still under the control of the militia in Rahba, while a cordon of mines and artillery bombardment was imposed on other residential areas, resulting in civilian casualties.

Protection Organization for Civil Orientation said that during the past two weeks, the Houthis forcibly displaced 67 families from the Baqatha area and Mazrah village, south of Marib.

The organization pointed out, in tweets on the Twitter platform, that the Houthis are imposing a siege on the rest of the areas by creating checkpoints and starting to plant the area with mines.

The Houthi militia still controls areas on the outskirts of the Rahba district towards the Jabal Murad district and continues to launch attacks to restore the district, which it lost earlier last July, but to no avail.

The organization added that the Houthis are continuing artillery and missile shelling on the village of Mazara for the second week in a row, confirming the injury of a woman, on Friday, while an 11-year-old child was injured in the first week.

The organization indicated that these violations come after the militia blew up two houses and demolished other houses in the area with artillery and mortar shells.
