The Houthi militia detains the singer Fouad al-Kibsi and confiscates his musical instruments

Aden, NewsYemen:

 The Houthi militia detained, on Wednesday, the great artist Fouad al-Kibsi, at a military point on the Sana'a-Hodeidah road, after reviving a wedding party in the coastal governorate in western Yemen.

Local sources said that the Houthi militia detained al-Kibsi at a point in the "Al-Qanaws" area, while he was on his way back to Sana'a from the city of Hodeidah.

 The sources added that the militia confiscated all the musical instruments of the artist Fouad al-Kibsi, including the "lute", on the pretext that "singing is forbidden", while releasing al-Kibsi.
