Saada, NewsYemen, Exclusive:

"Majz" district in Saada governorate, one of the most important strongholds of the Houthis, is witnessing a state of tribal turmoil, coinciding with the announcement of the tribes of "Bani Hudhayfa", mobilizing and taking up arms in the face of the Iranian-backed militias, which comes with the tightening of the screws and the practices of abuse against the tribes, which were initiated by them.  Houthi since the first day of the coup.

The leaders of the tribes of Bani Hudhayfa announced, yesterday evening, the armed uprising in the face of the militias, and called on the tribesmen to support them in purifying the country of what they described as the Persian abomination, against the background of the continued kidnapping of their sons by the Houthis.

Local and tribal sources, in the Majz district of Saada, stated that the leaders of the Bani Hudhaifah tribes called for taking up arms to defend their honor and their land, which the Houthi militias allow, as far as they described them.  The tribesmen continued to kidnap it and put them in its prisons, and others towards its fighting fronts by force.

Activists in Saada and Yemen circulated a video of the leaders of the Hudhayfa tribes, declaring the mobilization, the collapse and the taking of arms, to confront the Houthi militias, in a new tribal uprising against the militias, this time in their stronghold of Saada.

Military and political sources in the ranks of legitimacy urged the leadership of the "Baqim" axis to support the uprising of the Hudhaifah tribes in the Majz district, as they are the closest forces close to them.

Saada, where Abdul-Malik al-Houthi is hiding, also witnessed, in October 2018, a tribal uprising, led by Muhammad Abdul-Azim al-Houthi, the cousin of the militia leader Abdul-Malik al-Houthi, in the Al Humaidan area of the Sahar district, which left 30 people dead on both sides, before the militia leader's elements were able to storm villages  Al Humaidan area, and it blew up a number of houses, and the rest were harassed, and exterminated the people of the area.

Over the past years, the Houthis have harassed the tribes from Saada to Al-Bayda and turned them into a mere reservoir that supplies them with fighters only. However, it seems that the Al-Bayda tribes are on the way to rehabilitate, after they became the only ones to say "no" in the face of the Houthis' rampant oppression 5 years ago.

On July 7, the “Al-Matma, Al-Maton, Al-Ghail, and Al-Hazm” districts in Al-Jawf witnessed a tribal uprising against the militias.  Al Hussein cut off the road linking Amran and Saada from the direction of the Ghayl district, against the background of the militias killing a number of the sons of those tribes, and tightening the screws on their commercial and agricultural businesses, before the raiding tribes announced their support for the government forces, while tribal mediations worked to calm the situation with the rest of the tribes.

In the beginning of January of this year, the Al-Haima district of Al-Ta’iziyah district, Taiz governorate, witnessed a tribal uprising against the militias that ended with the Taiz axis’s betrayal of the people of the region.

In May 2020, Al-Bayda witnessed a tribal uprising led by the "Al-Awad tribes" against the militias, against the background of the brutal killing of a woman named "Jihad Al-Asbahi" by a militia supervisor.

At the beginning of 2019, the "Hajour" area in the district of Kashar, Hajjah governorate, witnessed the largest tribal uprising against the militias, which spread to the governorate of Amran, before the Houthi elements were able to annihilate and brutally eliminate them.  Where, amid letdown by legitimacy and the alliance.

It was preceded by many tribal confrontations against the Houthis in different parts of Yemen, including the “Atma” uprising in Dhamar in early 2017, which ended with the desecration of the Atma areas and the bombing of opponents’ homes, the destruction of their farms and commercial interests, and other inhumane acts.
