Aden, NewsYemen:

The UAE has expressed its strong condemnation and denunciation of the attempts of the Iranian-backed terrorist Houthi militia to target a commercial ship belonging to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in the southern Red Sea with a booby-trapped drone that was intercepted and destroyed by the air defenses of the coalition forces.

In a statement published by WAM, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation confirmed that the UAE considers what happened as new evidence of this terrorist group's efforts to threaten the security of international shipping lines south of the Red Sea, and its systematic insistence on undermining security and stability in the region.

The statement said that the continuation of these attacks by the Houthi militia reflects their blatant defiance of the international community, and their disregard for all international laws and norms.  It urged the international community to take immediate and decisive action against these terrorist attacks.

The statement affirmed the full solidarity of the UAE with the Kingdom in the face of these terrorist and sabotage attacks, and standing with it in one row against every threat to its security and stability, and the security and safety of navigation and global trade, stressing that the security of the UAE and the security of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia are indivisible, and that any threat or danger  He is facing the Kingdom, which the UAE considers a threat to its security and stability system.
