Shabwa, NewsYemen:

The Houthi militia, Iran's arm in Yemen, advanced towards Bayhan in Shabwa governorate, at dawn on Thursday, for the first time since it was expelled from the district in the summer of 2017.

Local sources told NewsYemen that the Houthi militia advanced from the Al-Bayda side, and took control of the Al-Qundah obstacle and beyond, and Baihan became within the Houthis' range of fire again.

The sources indicated that withdrawals took place on the part of the legitimate forces, which resulted in the lightning advance of the Houthis towards Bayhan.

A soldier in the legitimacy appeared on the Al-Bayda fronts, adjacent to Baihan, in a video clip, complaining about "betrayals".

Al-Qanza’ is an obstacle linking Bayhan to Al-Bayda, and forces from the army loyal to the Islah party were stationed there and beyond for years.

In a statement to "NewsYemen", a military source accused the Islah party of treason in the battle, saying that it wanted revenge against the 19th Infantry Brigade, which is formed from the sons of Bayan.
