Marib, NewsYemen:

On Saturday, the Murad tribes repelled a large-scale attack by the Houthi militia, in an attempt to regain control of areas lost in the past few days, in the Rahba District, Marib Governorate, eastern Yemen.

Tribal sources reported that violent battles broke out, at dawn on Saturday, between Murad tribesmen, on the one hand, and the Houthi militia, on the other hand, in Rahba, south of Marib.

The sources pointed out that the militia pushed with groups of people and heavy military vehicles, in a large-scale attack under heavy cover of fire, in an attempt to regain the areas it had lost earlier.

And last Wednesday, government forces and the Murad tribes regained the center of the "Rahba" district, after violent battles against the Houthi militia.

According to the sources, the fighters of the Murad tribes responded to the attack, with air support from the Arab coalition fighters, which resulted in heavy human and material losses in the ranks of the Houthi militia.
