Downing a Houthi drone over Marib

On Wednesday, government forces shot down a reconnaissance drone, launched by the Houthi militia, over Marib Governorate, eastern Yemen.

Military sources said that the government forces shot down the Houthi plane, while it was flying over the army's positions on the Kasara front, west of the city of Ma'rib.

The downing of the drone coincided with armed confrontations in the "Rahba" district, during which the army and tribesmen managed to regain control of the district center, which includes the government complex and the security department.
