Fierce fighting to prevent access to the heart of the city of Al-Bayda, the governorate center

 Field sources in Al-Bayda governorate confirmed that the governorate center was in the jaws of the resistance and the joint forces advancing towards it through two axes, “the eastern from the al-Soma’a side, and the western from the al-Zahir and Dhi Naem side,” which prompted the Houthi militias to try to prevent those forces from entering the governorate center from  During attacks on the advanced fronts in Al-Zahir and Al-Soma.

The sources pointed out that after the city of Al-Bayda became between the jaws of the pincers, the militias that brought in reinforcements from Al-Juba towards Hazmieh, and from the direction of Dhamar towards Al-Zahir, are trying to prevent the siege on the city, after the resistance and the joint advance from Hazmieh towards Al-Dahaki, and Al-Azani from the eastern side, and the second advance  From Al-Kamasha, towards Al Mudhafar, from the Al-Zaher side, from the western side, which is what the militias are trying to prevent from the advance of the forces towards the center of the governorate.

Militia elements advanced from al-Juba on the outskirts of Marib, towards the al-Bayda fronts, which are advancing towards the governorate center, in an attempt to prevent entry into the heart of the city.

Field sources confirmed that the battles between the two sides are taking place in the areas of “Al-Dahki from the east and belonging to the Hazmieh Front in the Suma’a district, and from the west in Wadi Murib in Al Mudhaffar in the Al-Zaher front located west of the city of Al-Bayda.”  Al-Aqla” in Al-Soma’a district, is still under the control of the resistance and the joint forces.

The sources indicated that 30 sites have been liberated in the districts of Al-Soma, Al-Zahir, and Dhi Naem, and another affiliated to the Al-Bayda district, the center of the governorate, and purification and security operations are still being carried out by the resistance and joint to it, to prevent any further violations of the militias towards those sites.

 It confirmed the approach of the resistance and the joint forces in the Dhi Naem front to the connecting road heading towards the city of Al-Bayda, the center of the governorate, to cut off the Houthis’ supply in the city of Al-Bayda and the fronts between the Al-Soma’a and Al-Zahir districts, and those located in the Mukayras front on the outskirts of Abyan governorate.

Meanwhile, the Thurra Front in Mukayras began a large-scale military operation towards the Houthi sites in Aqaba "Thra", which includes the most important camps that used to belong to the former Yemeni army, which is currently controlled by the Houthi militia, and it is highly fortified as a result of its location within a natural mountain range.

Field sources confirmed that violent battles are taking place between the two sides on the Thara front from the Abyan governorate, after units of the government forces advanced towards Houthi positions in the area, taking advantage of the battles taking place in the vicinity of the city of Al-Bayda and cutting off supply routes from the direction of the Owen junction in Hazmieh.

For its part, the Arab coalition fighters launched a series of raids targeting a Houthi weapons store in the Daqiq area in Dhi Naem district, and another in the vicinity of Al-Zahir, which led to the destruction of Houthi combat mechanisms, and left many dead and wounded among their members, including field leaders.

While field sources confirmed the killing of more than 100 Houthis during their recent attacks on Al-Zahir and Al-Soma, they indicated that about 17 Houthi leaders were killed in the recent coalition raids, including the Houthi leader "Hammoud Shatan" appointed by the Houthis as governor of Al-Bayda, after targeting a meeting for them in Dhi  Soft.
