Abyan, NewsYemen, Private:

The southern "Loder", the city most confronting al-Qaeda for ten years, joined the southern cities in which the authorities of President Abd Rabbu Mansour Hadi, his allies the Brotherhood and Ali Mohsen al-Ahmar are stirring chaos, in the context of their attempts to disrupt the "implementation of the Riyadh Agreement", which completed its first year stuck between  Hadi and the Brotherhood on the one hand and the transitional party on the other.

The southern city, which is the largest district of the “Abyan” governorate, witnessed a sudden attack on Friday by armed men affiliated with the Hadi and Brotherhood alliance against the tribes in the city because of its adherence to the directorate’s security director appointed by Hadi himself and its refusal to appoint an unacceptable replacement for him. The tribes accuse him of being linked to terrorist groups that  The city suffered.

The tribal rejection of the new director, faced with rejection and threat by the Hadi-Brotherhood alliance, resulted in the formation of an alliance that brought together the tribes and the security belt with the former director of security.

A source told NewsYemen that the Brotherhood's militia attacked the city during the Friday sermon with various types of weapons, killing two citizens and wounding five people, while the source confirmed that there were deaths among the Brotherhood's forces.

 Causes of conflict

The attack on the loader today came after an agreement between the two parties to the conflict: the director of the loader security, al-Khader Homsan, and the security director of Abyan Abu Mishaal al-Kazmi, yesterday evening, Thursday, to hand over the security of the directorate to the director of security in Abyan Abu Mishaal, and to appoint another person to replace the popularly rejected “Lieutenant-Colonel Jaafar al-Khala” in  Lauder for his association with terrorist groups.

However, the director of Abyan security reversed the agreement, and tried to impose the new director by force and invade Lauder and blow up the situation militarily, but the forces of the security belt and the resistance in the city, backed by the neighboring tribes, repelled the Brotherhood attack, which lasted for hours.

Media sources say that the attack is an attempt by Hadi's Vice President, Major General Ali Mohsen, to exploit Hadi's absence to provoke battles between Al-Awathel and Bakazem.

What is the relationship between the security belt and events?

On the position of the Security Belt forces on the conflict between the legitimacy camp, other sources told NewsYemen that the campaign carried out by the Brotherhood militias against Loder had other goals, namely revenge against the city and its honorable history in the face of al-Qaeda elements, and the other goal is to weaken the security belt in the city that  It is the largest in Abyan governorate.

The security belt forces in the district fear that Brotherhood forces allied with al-Qaeda will lead to chaos in the city, which will facilitate these elements to carry out assassinations against leaders and members of the security belt, in addition to targeting leaders of the popular committees that participated in the humiliating defeat of terrorist elements in 2012.

The Brotherhood militias led by Al-Oban tried a year ago to invade the city, and failed after the sons of Lodar and the neighboring tribes announced their position on the side of the security belt forces, and to spare the city any political conflict.

What is the position of the sons of Loder?

The people of Lawdar are aware that the ongoing war in Lawdar is legitimate, but there is a fear of a repeat of the 2012 scenario and an attempt to bring down the city in the hands of terrorism through the new security director, who is considered close to the terrorist organization, according to what is being circulated in the city.

The sons of Lodar presented dozens of dead and wounded during the confrontations with the terrorist organization in 2012, in addition to the siege that lasted for two months on the city, so it is impossible to accept any leader linked to terrorism.

Lodar's sons demand that the Minister of Interior reconsider the appointment of the new director and replace him with another person agreed upon by all parties who has no ties to terrorist organizations.
