40 civilians were killed and injured in a month and a half at the hands of the Houthis in Hodeidah

 The escalation of the terrorist Houthi militia, Iran's arm in Yemen, in the areas of the western coast of Yemen, in the past 43 days, targeted 40 civilians, including 12 children and a woman, according to a medical source.

The joint media reported that from May 17 to the end of June of this year, hospitals and medical centers in the liberated areas of the western coast received at least 40 civilians, including 12 children and women, who were killed and injured by various means of killing for the Houthis. 

 He explained that the death toll was 8 civilians, including two women, including 3 civilians who were killed by mines and explosive devices, and the same number by gunfire, and two others by shrapnel from artillery shells.

He added that 32 civilians, including 4 women and 6 children, were injured, 10 of whom were injured by the explosion of Houthi remnants, 9 others by gunfire, and 13 civilians by shrapnel of various shells.

He pointed out that (Hais) district topped the first place in the number of casualties with 12 civilians, followed by (Al-Tuhaita) district with 11 civilians.

He stated that most of the wounded were transferred to Doctors Without Borders Hospital in Mocha and the hospitals of the capital, Aden, due to the seriousness of their condition, after they were given first aid.

He had revealed the killing and wounding of at least 57 civilians, including 27 children and women, since the beginning of March to mid-May of this year, in the areas of the western coast, by Houthi militia fire, as part of its repeated violations of the UN truce and its ongoing crimes against civilians.
