Two booby-trapped Houthi planes shot down over Marib

The government forces announced the downing of two booby-trapped drones, launched by the Houthi militia, on the Marib Governorate, eastern Yemen.

The Ministry of Defense website "September Net" stated that "the air defenses managed to shoot down two booby-trapped drones belonging to the Houthis on the Sirwah front, west of Marib."

 "The two booby-trapped planes were shot down while they were flying towards the densely populated city of Ma'rib," he said.

He pointed out that the Houthi militia continued to send Iranian-made booby-trapped drones to target civilians and residential neighborhoods in the city of Marib, which led to the deaths of hundreds of civilians, including children and women.
