A Turkish organization is funding a "suspicious" housing project in Lahj

South24 Center reported that a Turkish organization has funded the construction of a residential city on vast tracts of land, in Lahj Governorate, southern Yemen.

The center said that the Turkish organization that finances the project is IHCRO and is based in Istanbul, pointing out that it is implemented under the banner of a residential city for the displaced.

According to the source, the project is being implemented under the supervision of leaders from the Muslim Brotherhood, in Yemen, amid reports that it is in the interest of the group.

While activists considered the residential city, which bears the name "Yemen Al-Khair", a dangerous demographic change project, criticizing the complicity of the local authority's leadership in Lahj governorate.
