Mocha, NewsYemen, Exclusive:

Saida Abdel Khaleq left the isolation center in the Al-Mokha district, at noon on Sunday, while a thin smile was on her lips after she passed the infection with the Corona virus.

Saida, about 70 years old, told NewsYemen: “I was afraid of the needle of mercy, but I only found integrated medical care in the center dedicated to treating Corona patients in Mocha.”

On May 15, Saida was brought from the Mawza district, after she suffers from severe shortness of breath, but the elderly woman, who was afraid of losing her life due to the huge amount of rumors about doctors getting rid of those infected with the virus, found her recovery in the isolation center.

She added, "What I found in the center was nothing but health services and integrated care, as doctors provided me with all the necessities of life, and oxygen was one of the first of these needs that helped me overcome the disease."

When Saeed was preparing to leave the center, she thanked all the staff at the center and the health office, for the attention she received during her eight-day stay in the isolation center.

For his part, the treating doctor Saif Muthanna Salem said that the patient contracted Corona disease and was transferred and received at the center for treatment on May 15, as she was suffering from shortness of breath with a high temperature and a dry cough.

She was given antibiotics and intravenous fluids, along with drugs to reduce fever and provide her with oxygen, and her condition improved significantly while receiving treatment, according to Dr. Seif.

He confirmed that the isolation center received dozens of cases infected with Coronavirus during the last period and they were treated, as the center has an integrated medical staff with laboratory equipment, on top of which is the "BCR" device.

And Dr. Saif advised everyone who complained of difficulty breathing and high temperature to go to the center for treatment.
