A huge fire broke out sunday morning( May 16, 2021) in one of the largest commercial centers in the capital Sanaa, controlled by the Houthi militia, the Iranian arm in Yemen, causing extensive damage.

Activists circulated videos showing the fire at the Bravo Center mall in Sanaa in the Shamila district, south of the capital Sanaa.

The pillars of fire and clouds of smoke escalated heavily as they were seen from long distances, while it was not yet known whether the fire had killed and injured.
