One dead, 5 injured in Houthi "booby-trapped" attack on popular market in Hodeidah

A civilian was killed and five others were injured sunday in an attack by Houthi militia by a marching car bomb on a popular market in Taif area in al-Darimi district, south of Hodeidah.

According to local sources, al-Houthi militia targeted a popular market in al-Darimi district, killing one civilian and injuring five others.

The injured were taken to Al-Darihi Hospital for first aid, before being transferred to Al-Peacha Hospital, the sources said.

The victims were working in a restaurant in the area: Mohammed Thabet Ali, Mohammed Hussein Saleh, Issam Sufyan Ahmed, Imad Mohammed al-Sayed, Ali al-Lahji Saeed and Abdullah Faisal Jaafar, the sources said.
