The wadi Hadramout and Shabwa Governorate are experiencing a stifling gas crisis, despite being oil and gas areas in southern Yemen.

Citizens in Shabwa and Wadi Hadramout told "NewsYemen" that they stand in long lines to obtain a gas cylinder, but they do not get it.

The local authorities in those areas did not work to find a solution to the gas crisis, despite the passage of months.

The Marib Authority recently raised the price of gas, so that the cylinder was 20 liters, by 4,000 riyals instead of 3,500, while the commercial price was sold at 9,400.

It is noteworthy that the Islah Party, the Brotherhood of Yemen, maintains its grip on Wadi Hadramout, Shabwa Governorate, in addition to Ma'rib Governorate.
