The coalition thwarts an attack on Abha airport and vows to hold the Houthis accountable

 The Arab coalition, led by Saudi Arabia, reported, Monday evening, that air defenses intercepted a "booby-trapped" march launched by the Houthi militia towards Abha airport, in the south of the Kingdom.

 The spokesman for the coalition, Brigadier General Turki Al-Maliki, said that on Monday evening, a "booby-trapped" drone launched by the Iranian-backed terrorist Houthi militia was intercepted and shot down in a deliberate and systematic way to target travelers at Abha International Airport, through which thousands of civilian travelers, citizens and residents, pass daily and from different nationalities.

He explained that as a result of the interception process, some shrapnel fell on the inner campus of Abha International Airport, without any injuries or damage to civilians, including travelers and workers, and as a result, the windows of some ground support vehicles of passenger buses were shattered.

Al-Maliki stressed that "the leadership of the joint forces of the coalition and in the face of these terrorist acts and immoral abuses of the terrorist Houthi militia will continue to implement strict measures against this terrorist militia to ensure the protection of civilian objects and civilians. The terrorist elements responsible for planning and carrying out this hostile attack will be held accountable in accordance with international law."  Humanity and its customary rules. "
