An elderly farmer was seriously wounded, on Friday, in an attack by a drone carrying explosives launched by the Houthi militia, north of Hajjah governorate.
A local source in Hajjah said that a drone belonging to the Houthi militia dropped a projectile at a farm in the western district of Haradh, wounding its owner.
He explained that the farmer, "Zaila Ahmed Youssef Aati," in his seventies, suffered a severe injury in his legs, and first aid was carried out and transferred to a hospital in the city.
Despite international condemnations, the Houthi militia continues to carry out bombing drones airstrikes targeting civilian objects in Yemen and Saudi Arabia.
Drones booby-trapped attacks often cause civilian casualties and material losses to public and private property.
