The coalition thwarts two Houthi attacks on southern Saudi Arabia

On Thursday, the Arab coalition announced that it thwarted a new attack by the Houthi militia, the Iranian arm in Yemen, on Saudi territory, the second in a few hours.

The coalition stated, in a brief statement, that the air defenses were able to intercept and destroy a booby-trapped plane belonging to the terrorist Houthi militia, before it entered Saudi airspace.

The coalition statement added, that this attack comes within the attempts of the hostile group, through which it aims to target civilians and civilian objects in the Kingdom.

He affirmed that the coalition continues to take all necessary operational measures to protect civilians, in accordance with international humanitarian law.

Earlier on Thursday, the coalition forces announced the interception and destruction of an explosive drone launched by the Houthi militia towards Khamis Mushait, southwest of Saudi Arabia.
