The United Nations: The displacement of 200 families from "Abs" Hajah due to the renewed fighting

The United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) said that more than 200 families have been displaced due to the recent renewed fighting in Abs district in Hajah governorate, north (west of Yemen).

The organization stated, in a statement, that more than 200 families have been displaced, who fled the Abs area under the pretext of the increase in hostilities.

The statement added that 81% of these displaced people are women and children.

The organization indicated that its teams are assessing the needs of the displaced families and providing them with basic relief items and psychosocial support.
