The Brotherhood authorities directed the city of Taiz to launch what they called a massive campaign of "forgiveness and repentance" with the outbreak of the Corona epidemic in the city and the deficit of the health sector.

Where the Awqaf and Guidance Bureau in the governorate, which is under the control of the Brotherhood, launched a call for a "broad campaign of forgiveness, repentance, return, representation and supplication to God," and said that this "raised the distress we are suffering from, and desperation and affliction."

The office’s call came, in a statement, in which it called on all mosques in the governorate to hold the rain prayer next Friday, with the launch of a campaign "for forgiveness and repentance."

The office also called on scholars, preachers and preachers to "direct and educate society in this critical period, which has been overwhelmed by the hardships of tribulations, strife and epidemics, to take all means of caution, caution and precautionary measures against the Corona epidemic."

The endowment office's call comes despite the increasing calls in the city of Taiz to implement the most stringent measures to prevent the spread of the epidemic in the city and to completely prevent gatherings, including the temporary closure of mosques.

Medical sources were surprised by the endowment office’s insistence on inviting citizens to gather in the mosques, by holding a prayer for rain instead of calling for preventive measures to be taken to prevent the spread of the virus, despite the office itself acknowledging the seriousness of the situation through its statement last Sunday that two graves in the city of Taiz, namely female prisoners and martyrs, received 89) A funeral in just one week.

The sources indicated that the office’s call is consistent with Brotherhood leaders ’insistence on rejecting the idea of closing mosques, and even inciting citizens to be indifferent to the outbreak of the epidemic, which was stated by the radical Brotherhood leader Abdullah Al-Adini, last Friday, who ridiculed the preventive measures of the epidemic by setting up group prayer without fear. Of injury.

The sources considered that the language of the endowment office’s speech by portraying the epidemic as “anger from God for sins and lack of forgiveness,” supports the local authorities ’evasion of their responsibility towards the epidemic in light of the severe disability that the health sector suffers from recognized by Brotherhood members.

Where the director of Al-jamhory Hospital in Taiz, Nashwan Al-Husami - one of the Brotherhood members - announced that the hospital had not received a single riyal for the health isolation center to confront the Corona epidemic.

Medical sources indicated that the local authority’s abandonment of support for the health sector comes with its looting a few days ago of millions of riyals from the salaries of employees for the month of March under the pretext of "general mobilization" and the liberation of the province despite the stopping of the fronts and the Houthi militia's restoration of most of the liberated areas last month.

The sources pointed out that the local authority's abandonment of its role in supporting the health sector was matched by the directive of the Leader of the National Resistance, Brigadier General Tariq Muhammad Abdullah Saleh, to ship medical aid to the health sector in Taiz Governorate, with a value of 40 million riyals, to counter the Coronavirus.
