The Joint Forces Command of the Arab Coalition showed video clips to intercept and destroy a "booby-trapped" march launched by the Houthi militia, the Iranian arm in Yemen, on Tuesday evening, towards Saudi Arabia.
Earlier, the Saudi-led Arab coalition announced the interception and destruction of a march launched by the Houthi militia towards the southern region in the Kingdom, considering that the militia's attempts to target civilians in a deliberate manner constitute war crimes.
The spokesman for the coalition forces, Brigadier General Turki Al-Maliki, said that the attempts of the terrorist Houthi militia to attack civilians and civilian objects in a deliberate and systematic manner constitute war crimes.
He stressed that the Joint Forces Command of the Coalition takes and implements the necessary operational measures to protect civilians and civilian objects, in accordance with international humanitarian law and its customary rules.
