Southern forces repel a Houthi attack in "Haifan", between Taiz and Lahj

Southern forces, stationed on the battlefronts in the Haifan region, between the governorates of Taiz and Lahj, on Tuesday, repelled an attack launched by the Houthi militia, the Iranian arm in Yemen.
Military sources reported that the Houthi militia escalated their military operations on the Haifan front, and launched shelling towards the southern forces' positions stationed in the (Al-Mafalis in Haifan) area.
According to the sources, the southern forces launched a counter-attack targeting sites where the Houthi militia are stationed, on the same front, which resulted in losses among the militia.
Whereas, the southern forces pushed, with military reinforcements from the 9th Sa'iqa Brigade, to Haifan, to join the forces of the 4th Brigade Security Forces.
