Brigadier General Tariq Saleh praises the efforts of the Bab al-Mandab sector in securing navigation and combating smuggling

Brigadier General Tariq Muhammad Abdullah Saleh, Commander of the National Resistance and a member of the Joint Command on the West Coast, praised the efforts of the forces stationed in Bab al-Mandab, in securing the most important sea lanes and combating smuggling.

This came during his visit to the Bab al-Mandab Brigade sector, where he was received by the Commander of the Bab al-Mandeb Brigade, Brigadier Majid al-Saqia, and the Director of Security for Dhu Bab Directorate, Lieutenant Colonel Hamdoun al-Subaihi.

During the visit, Brigadier General Tariq Saleh, accompanied by the commander of the West Coast security sector, Brigadier General Mujahid Al-Hazura, and the commanders of the Fourth and Ninth Brigades, briefed the Republic's Guards and the head of the Humanitarian Operations Cell in the National Resistance, Abdullah Al-Hubaishi, who was briefed on the conditions and readiness of the stationed personnel.

He heard from the Bab al-Mandab sector command an explanation of the troop deployment plan, its tasks and responsibilities.

The Commander of the National Resistance praised the successes of the Bab al-Mandab Brigade with the members of the Coast Guard - the Red Sea sector since its re-establishment and rehabilitation about two years ago in securing the coasts and international navigation, and curbing smuggling activities.

For his part, the commander of the Bab al-Mandab Brigade, Brigadier Majid al-Saqia, expressed his appreciation for this visit and the keenness of the joint forces leaders to inspect the conditions of the fighters in various locations.
